My first response to another artist in a series of 12 pieces made as part of a round of Bananaphone during the first 6 weeks of COVID-19 lockdown. The inspiration for this piece came from a song by DC, which included a sample of audio from Arrested Development. I went with a loose interpretations of themes from the first season of the show – there’s always money in the banana stand.
