Questions

Yes. This work is platform-neutral — the audit, the schema, the Google Business Profile work, and the recommendations all apply regardless of what your site is built on. That includes Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, and custom-built sites. Some platforms limit what can be edited directly; the Checkup report will be clear about what’s possible on your specific setup.

Structured data is code that helps Google understand what’s on your page — not just the words, but what they mean in your site’s context. It’s how you tell Google that a page is about a specific service, that you're a licensed professional, or that you’re located in a specific city. Without it, Google has to guess. With it, you’re eligible for richer, more prominent search results.

Yes, on most closed platforms it can be added via code injection — a method that works independently of your theme or page editor. Your platform may already be generating some basic structured data automatically, but it’s rarely complete or specific enough. The Checkup will document exactly what’s there, what’s missing, and the rare case that you should consider a migration.

That’s completely fine — and by design. The report will be written to be useful to anyone: you, a developer, another SEO consultant, or even a virtual assistant. The goal is to give you an honest picture of where you stand and a clear sense of what needs to change. The suggestions can be implemented by anyone, and the level of expertise required will be indicated in the report. Nothing has to happen all at once — the recommendations are prioritized so you can start with the highest-impact changes and tackle the rest on your own timeline and budget.

The Foundation includes a content gap and keyword brief — a document that identifies what’s missing and gives suggestions for what to write about. Drafting and editing the actual content is outside the scope of these packages, but it’s something we can estimate for you separately if desired.

Technical fixes like schema and meta tags can show up in Search Console within a few weeks once Google re-crawls your pages. Meaningful ranking and traffic movement typically takes two to four months — and local SEO compounds over time, so the longer the foundation is in place, the more it works in your favor. We recommend establishing a baseline as soon as possible by tracking rankings for the keywords that matter to your business. Search algorithms shift and competitors don't stand still, so having real numbers to compare over time is the best way to know if your efforts are paying off. A quarterly check-in is usually enough to get a healthy read on progress.

To kick things off, we'll send a brief agreement and an invoice for 50% of the project fee.

For most of the technical work — the site audit, structured data, title tags, Search Console — we gather what we need directly from your site. For the Google Business Profile optimization, we’ll need your input: the services you offer, the areas you serve, how you’d describe what makes your practice different, and any credentials or specializations worth highlighting. If you have that information ready, we’ll gather it via a short intake form before work begins.
