Traci Larson

Visual Issues Founder,
Creative Director & Developer

Traci Larson-Katz is a seasoned creative technologist with over 18 years of professional experience as a designer. Throughout her career, Traci has worked with a wide-ranging roster of clients, from artists and nonprofits to startups and established corporations. The throughline is her attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work that meets the needs of both her clients and their audiences. Her design style adapts to the needs of the situation but is always polished, employing harmonious color schemes and thoughtful typography.

Since founding Visual Issues in 2014, Traci has collaborated with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of her projects. Her ability to bridge the gap between creative and technical disciplines ensures her clients’ objectives are met seamlessly. Whether designing gala invitations, a hand-held dance performance flip book, or an immersive ebook for site-specific company Heidi Duckler Dance; creating a logo, packaging, and website for high-end spice brand See Smell Taste; or signage and a full e-commerce website with ongoing maintenance for notable Los Angeles designer lighting gallery Rewire – Traci approaches each project with the same curiosity, critical thinking, and solutions-oriented mindset.

A committed lifelong learner, Traci stays on top of advancements in technology, regularly expanding and strengthening her diverse skill set and nurturing her unique blend of artistic creativity and technical proficiency. Traci is a valuable asset to any organization seeking to elevate their brand presence and deliver exceptional user experiences. She has a passion for creating streamlined systems, which stems from a genuine enjoyment of solving puzzles and improving processes. In addition to her core skills, she finds great fulfillment in assisting clients to automate their digital workflows and utilize technology to their advantage. She is a graduate of Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts - Graphic Design.
