Before I began the daily doodle project as my New Year’s resolution for 2016, I took a collage workshop at Barnsdall Art Park. It was a lot of fun and a showed me how great it is to have a scheduled block of time dedicated to making art each week. During that class and in the years since, I collected a huge assortment of unique collage materials! I’ve decided to stop hoarding these scraps and share the wealth.
Each Unstuck collage kit has an assortment of hand-selected collage materials. You can expect a variety of items, from cut-out printed images to letterpressed paper; glittery shapes or adhesive pantone paper; painted shards or little dots. The point is to use the kit to get loose and make a collage playing with color, shape, texture and composition.
The risograph printed backer cards all contain a handwritten prompt that the end user can choose to respond to – sometimes it helps to get ideas flowing! These would make a great gift or group activity.
